About THISD
THISD is fairly typical small, non-sponsored NGO whose members are all working full time in a variety of careers, often with direct links to tourism and hospitality, and who share a common vision. That is, the Vision of THISD. We have an informal organization of program activities where we volunteer our time to help move our agenda forward.
Historically, THISD first evolved from a parent organization (EHL-HISD) that was directly involved with Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, a well-known Hotel School based in Switzerland. Now an independent NPO based in Lausanne, THISD continues to seek new members who both capture the organization’s Vision and are willing to commit a limited amount of energy, time and a small membership fee to support our agenda.
