procedures. We will work with partners committed to ‘moving the agenda forward’ in reducing the negative
and enhancing the positive economic, environmental and social-cultural impacts of tourism, hospitality and
related industries.
Our Vision:
In cooperation with key global partners, THISD will provide the support needed by the tourism and
hospitality industry to protect its investments in the destination environments in which it depends. This
will be done through sustainable practices, enhancing profitability while limiting negative impacts on both
host peoples and places. The end result will be improving the quality of visitor experiences, the life quality
of hosts and the economic vitality of our industries’ small and medium sized suppliers.
